Better Start Nursing Grant
Not Your Average Nurses Foundation intends to offer small, one-time grants to eligible prospective and new nursing students in the amount of $500 to $1000 depending on your program of study. This grant is meant to help offset the costs of nursing school to include tuition, books, scrubs, medical instruments, and travel costs associated with clinical placement. The goal behind this grant is to reduce financial burden on new nursing students, in turn reducing stress and resulting in a better learning experience, better nurse graduates, and ultimately improved patient outcomes. Adrien Goulet Jr. and Al Weidie Memorial Trade Grant
Not Your Average Nurses Foundation also intends to offer small, one-time grants to eligible prospective and new trade students in the amount of $500. This grant is meant to help offset the costs associated with trade schools to include tuition, books, uniforms and tools. The goal behind this grant, similar to the Better Start Nursing Grant, is to help reduce stress on new trade students allowing them to better focus on their respective programs, resulting in higher success rates. Heroes Wear Scrubs Program
Nurses and CNAs are often left feeling underappreciated and overworked. Burnout is a reality many of them face on a day to day basis. While we can’t control the work environment, we can help show our appreciation by offering fun and unique experiences and exciting merchandise to eligible licensed professionals for free!
